Just checking TP count....

Hi

I'm pretty sure I'm right here, but would appreciate confirmation. I believe that each flight accrues 60TP and 1250 avios.

Fare 1: Carrier US AA07ZNI1 LAX to PHX (rules)
Passenger type ADT, one-way fare, booking code A
Covers LAX-PHX (First) $217.67
Fare 2: Carrier US AA14KSI1 PHX to SAN (rules)
Passenger type ADT, one-way fare, booking code A
Covers PHX-SAN (First) $166.51
US Transportation Tax (US) $28.81
US September 11th Security Fee (AY) $11.20
US Passenger Facility Charge (XF) $9.00
US Flight Segment Tax (ZP) $8.00

Subtotal per passenger $441.19
Number of passengers x1

FYI, I arrive in LAX and have 36 hours, more or less, to get to San Diego.....and I want to fit in a TP run to secure my silver going forward and need about 100 points, hence the above.

Can't find a better one - as in cheaper or a better ROI for around that price - gladly take advice? BTW, I'm happy to finish by travelling by Amtrak from LAX to SAN if needs be to keep the price down.

From the wiki it would appear that £2.25/TP is a bit rubbish....

New thought....!

If I could get 165 TP then I won't need to request a week's grace period in order to include a rtn flight 7 days after my end date.....and I'd have 125 TP into the following year's kitty.
