We love to beat up on the OPs! Point is valid. It "appears" that the pilots have it better, and get better terms from the airline, because of their union representation. And with the reopener it could get even better.

All those stepping on the OP, are you saying if the pilots did NOT have a union they would have exactly what they have now or better? If the pilots do have it better, then why would any group not think about it.

And I could care less one way or the other.
