Depends on the airline and who's paying.

If the J/F is international and has a flat bed product, I'd take that. If the J/F product is a recliner, I'd be in split minds depending on the duration of the flight. For a longer flight I'd take the recliner.

I would definitely take 3 Y seats over a J/F recliner on any flight.
