EVA Air Royal Laurel Class seems to be nice and the new pajama looks very nice. BR tries very hard to improve on its food especially Western options, which are often difficult for Taiwanese airlines.

The service seems to reinforce my impression that it can be inconsistent and some of the F/As are not very experienced or very customer oriented. I think they try harder after joining Star Alliance, but it will take them some times to reach the level of Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines.
