Looking at an AP redemption to Europe next fall (for Oktoberfest, so late Sept. early Oct.). Something like YVR-WAW-MUC-YVR.

Problem is, we don't know if we'll be moving to Ottawa between now and then.

I'd love to route the whole thing around flying LO YYZ-WAW, partly to try the 787 and partly as it's low-fee. Also helpful if we only need to change the YVR-YYZ leg to a YOW-YYZ.

Problem is, I believe routing YVR-Europe through YYZ breaks MPM. Can anyone tell me more?

Could I instead book it as YOW-YYZ-WAW-MUC-YOW, and then change the YOW leg to YVR later on?

Any advice appreciated.
