I don't mean to be judgmental, but your question seems to imply that your US license has been suspended/revoked, in which case Mexican law may not allow you to drive at all regardless of any other license you may hold.
I've been wondering about why someone would try to use a Chinese license when they have a USA license, which would have the advantage of being in English and therefore
readable by rental car agents and police if necessary.
