My boyfriend and I arrive late at about 9pm on a Monday for a delightful 13 hour layover.
We would be interested in heading anywhere that serves food and enough cocktails so we can sleep/pass out for a few hours in the airport before our flight.
So, my questions.
Where should we go? Milaflores?
What time does everything shut down?
What is the price for taxis and availability at that hour?

We have perfect Spanish, so are able to negotiate/communicate.
Thank you for your advice!!

Calle de las Pizzas, en Miraflores! Only 2 blocks long but plenty of bars and restaurants. Many locals and foreigners and quite big social scene, though this also depends on day of week (have never been there on a Monday night). Most places don't close until at least 3-4am--regardless, do hope Monday night is lively enough for you 2. Prices for taxis can run a bit high given the time of night but you could try LimaCabs (link above) but more so for a secure drive back to LIM.
A much closer option would be Plaza San Miguel. There are a couple restaurants that stay open late but different atmosphere than Miraflores. Have fun!
