Neither of those answer the question.

The question is, for example, if UA1 operates as EWR-SFO-NRT. Say OP books UA1 EWR-NRT one way. OP boards in EWR and then fails to board the SFO-NRT sector of UA1.

Are miles issued for
EWR-SFO?
EWR-NRT?
nothing?
