If you have booked the highest catgeory room that has 2 beds and 2 beds is a requirement, then there is nothing to upgrade to and c'est la vie

The thread title seems very misleading since the hotel is providing an upgrade

The hotel is only required to upgrade by 1 category; if that category doesn't give what you want, there is no requirement for hotel to upgradde further

Making a dummy booking shows

Standard King / 2x double
Deluxe King / 2x double
Deluxe View King / 2 x double
Club King / 2 x double
Junior suite
1 bedroom suite etc

so a Deluxe View room is a bookable category, just may be sold out on the day you wish to book.
