If you're worried about being a single woman in Chicago and you don't want to waste an overnight, why not just stay at the ORD Hilton? It's on the airport grounds and can easily be walked to from the terminal. And Chicago isn't going anywhere, you're not doing the city a disservice by just staying the night at ORD.
