You're wrong about CPT, yields are some of the highest on the network and fare outweigh the costs of the relatively poor aircraft utilisation. As mentioned in my post above, the CPT flights are demand inelastic and aren't affected by price hikes.
That goes against what my friends at BA say.... they say the CPT route is very high in costs and is not a high performer as you suggest.
