Happening again... HA # 36 (now scheduled to depart HNL for PHX at 1:05 p.m.) delayed yesterday for 3.5 hours due to MX ("red light" came on in cockpit). Very terrible delay procedures by gate staff... 1.5 hours on tarmac, then deplaned, told to return to gate in one hour, and then told that updates would be available in 15 minutes, followed by updates to wait 15 more minutes. then again. No food vouchers, no water or food at gate, no compensation. The monitors showed a new departure time of 8 p.m. but the plane ultimately left around 4:30 p.m., arriving in PHX 1:40 a.m. next morning. Very disappointing service by staff.
