I don't own a car or have car insurance. I just rented a car from Priceline and they offer insurance for $11/day.

I'm wondering does this cover liability? I want to know I'm not going to pay anything(or a lot) out of pocket if I cause a wreck.

Otherwise, should I just wait and pay the hefty cost of the insurance at the front counter?
