How long does citybagsluggage take to deliver mis-routed bags?
Hi,
I arrived back on BA268 from LAX yesterday. Could not see the bag on the carousel, baggage services confirmed the bag was loaded at LAX and likely ended up with the transfer bags. This morning I recieved a txt from world tracer saying my bag has been found and handed over to citybagsluggage for delivery. I checked the citybagsluggage website using the reference provided, saw it listed as arriving at their heathrow depot at 9.30am and naivley assumed that I would be re-united with my bag sometime today.
In the late afternoon I e-mailed citybagsluggage (outsourced courier??, no phone number on website), called BA, who told me that they will contact the baggage manager at Heathrow and also gave me a local number for citybagsluggage after warning me that when they gave out this number previously it turned out to be useless. Unsuprisingly the local number for citybagsluggage places one in an infinite queue.
Has anyone dealt with citybagsluggage before? How does one contact them?
I have had luggage go missing before more than once, but the problem has always been for the airline to find it. I have never had to wait days for luggage that has been found to be delivered.
