A new player in the domestic airline market opens for business on Monday, while a potential rival seeks Government support to operate in New Zealand.
Freedom Air, a subsidiary of Air New Zealand, began taking bookings at 0700 for its cut-price service which starts on Tuesday, flying between Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
