In the 1st post it is the seat described as 2nd gen angle lie flat...in other words, it's not very flat at all! If you are lucky you might get a non refurbed 747 and get 1st gen angle lie flat, actually a better bed.
the difference between the two seats is not so huge; both are described with 170 degree decline

I also prefer the 1. generation as the leg rest is better adjustable, but in full recline there is no big difference
