Is it just me, or does anyone else say thank-you to the crew standing at the door as you depart, even if that person never served you during the flight?
I always find myself doing it, it always feels funny, but it is somehow better than just walking off and saying nothing.
I take the view that they're all there for our safety, so if they're at the door, it's polite to say thank you and goodbye.
I mean, the captain doesn't bring me my GnT (as I am not a GGL

) but I'll still say thank you at the end.
