ORLANDO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - MCCOY (MCO)
---

Stepping out of the loud ramp-jetway, I am quickly reminded of why I love MCO--it makes me feel right at home! Despite the airport's size, it has a very homely feel to it, almost FLL-like. Nevermind all the interesting traffic coming in, from 744s to small Saabs!

Stepping out, ears ringing a bit due to all the raging props and turbofans outside!

Another UA 737

One of the skylight-illuminated atriums at MCO.

We have some time to kill and are kind of hungry, so my friend and I decided to drop into the United Club at MCO. Pretty much the same amenities as at FLL, but in a different layout.

Shielded-glass entrance to the MCO UA Club.

Reception is upstairs.

The US Airways station from across the ramp. No A330s, though... ( http://www.airliners.net/aviation-fo...ad.main/253048 )

Boy-oh-boy do i wish I was on that Internationally-configured UA 752 with lie-flat BusinessFirst seating right now...

After munching on United Club hamster food and slugging down some soft drinks, we went onto the train and down into baggage claim, called the hotel shuttle, and proceeded to our waiting suite.

Taking the airport shuttle to baggage claim.

Awesome and efficient use of terminal space to use the upstairs level as a Chilis.

Waiting for the hotel shuttle.

Riding the shuttle bus to the hotel. Sorry for the blurry picture...

Around twenty minutes later, we were at the Residence Inn and ready to check in. :-D
