So I have 70k in points on amex MR and 60k points on Chase UR.

I am having a hard time working out the best way to use them for flying to Manchester, UK December 26th - January 1st. My dates are a little flexible.

The best I seem to have found is leaving the 25th and returning January 2nd with Virgin Atlantic.

IAD - MAN 35k points +$500.

I am in Roanoke and can drive about 4 hours for a cheaper flight (IAD is right about 4 hours away).

I'm not expecting someone to look up flights for me and do all the work. I'm just having trouble finding any flights on other airlines that are less than 120k redemption.


I've also never flown on points before so it's all kind of new to me!
