That being said, from experience working with SHARES (the US Res system), its pretty mundane and generally doesn't even show a partner flyer's FF status at all.
I don't think this information listed above is correct.

I just booked a US Air ticket and it didn't recognize my status on AA. It isn't that they updated it on a monthly basis, as I have had status on AA for months. It is just that they don't seem to talk to AA. On AS I can book a ticket and my status comes through pretty immediately. It isn't an alliance issue.
