As a direct result of questions over the safety of Ansett Australia, fully owned by Air NZ, the share price of Air NZ has fallen below NZD1.00 for the first time in a decade as reported on NZ news today.

Ansett Australia have been forced to ground 6 767-200 aircraft, reportedly after ignoring a warning from Boeing of the "highest level of concern" regarding the condition of their Boeing 767-200 aircraft.
