I made a change to a booking for next July 10 days ago, it is still unticketed and my credit card hasn't been charged. Apparently they do it in date of flight order. I'm going to give mine a month or so before following up, as I owe about £900, and it's nice to give my Amex a bit of a break (although I do want to prebook my seats!)
