Gotta love the perks of the job. They eliminate your position and you get to keep the pay for two years, even if you're shifted to a lower-paying position.
Where I work, if you accept a lower position (voluntarily or involuntarily), your first paycheck in the new position reflects the drop in pay. What's next? If TSA decides to reduce staff, lay them off with two years' severance?
