IAD-DKR-JNB: Ebola Concerns

All,

I am booked for a trip to South Africa in mid September via a SAA flight from IAD-DKR-JNB. The flight lands in Dakar to take on fuel and passengers, I will not be getting off the plane. Some of my family members caught wind of my itinerary and are concerned (overly, IMO) about the Ebola outbreak in the region.

There are currently no travel warnings or alerts for Senegal from the US State Dept. and even though there was one case reported today, I am not overly concerned beyond seeing the need to take some precautions. What do you all think? Am I not concerned enough? Would you take the flight as is, or change it?

Thanks for your comments and thoughts in advance.
