FB hasn't been required for a few months. The phone number verification is a little wonky though. Also, make sure you upload your picture.

Another important change, 2 weeks ago Lyft changed their system. Before when a driver got close to the destination the Lyft system would automatically send a text to let the passenger know and then the driver would start the ride when the passenger got in the car.

Now the driver hits "Tap to Arrive" and that triggers the message, but also starts the ride. So, be ready for the driver people!!

Also, before Lyft didn't charge cancellation fees for no-shows, but some nights 1/2 of the driver's rides would be no-shows so now if the driver arrives at the location and calls you and you tell the driver to cancel you will be charged $5.
