OTOH, the Conrad Macau is HKD $504 ($65 USD) + 16k points or HKD $2,298 ($300 USD).
16K points for $235 USD off the rate, at a place where Golds get suites all the time? Not too shabby.
Conrad Hong Kong is $969 HKD + 28k points Sunday night (USD $125)... or 3100 HKD (USD $400), so 28k points is still getting you almost a penny a point.
Or let's take Conrad Bangkok: 1555 THB +12,000 ($50 USD) or 5100 THB ($160). Again, almost a penny a point.
Looks like London is the bad deal here...
