A jet lifted off from a Kennedy Airport runway where five plows were clearing snow, and the Federal Aviation Administration (news - web sites) said Thursday it is investigating.

The JetBlue Airbus 320, bound for West Palm Beach, Fla., cleared the runway nearly 1,000 feet ahead of the plows Tuesday. No injuries were reported.

FAA spokesman Jim Peters said the incident is classified as a ``runway incursion.''
