I see the disclaimer on US Airways flights, but I'm not sure I quite understand whether it applies in our case.

We're looking at a US Airways marketed flight (LAX-KOA) that flies entirely on AA metal. For whatever reason, the same flight is ridiculously cheaper on US Airways than AA.

1. Will my Citi luggage benefits apply if I enter my AA frequent flier mile when I book?

2. Related question, if I end up getting a Citi Executive card, would I be able to use priority check-in, screening, etc?

Apologize if this has been covered -- I couldn't seem to find anything exactly on point.
