American Airlines said it canceled all 39 flights Thursday morning to and from Kennedy Airport as a work slowdown by aircraft mechanics stretched into a second day.
The airline said it canceled 15 inbound and 24 outbound flights on Thursday, and 90 flights on Wednesday.
American said in a statement that its
Thursday afternoon flight schedule was still in place.
So far!
Good luck!

American Airlines, Inc. today filed a request in federal court for a preliminary injunction with temporary restraining order (TRO) against the Transport Workers Union to enjoin the union and its members from engaging in any illegal job actions like the slowdown Wednesday at JFK Airport in New York, which forced cancellation of 75 percent of American's flights there and the disruption of thousands of passengers' travel.
