My wife got the email and I didn't but both of us have been extended to 12/31/15.
I think they are implementing the final integration of Rapid Rewards and A+ Rewards.
This notice has been on the Airtran website for some time.
Please note that if you have Elite status that hasn’t expired as of November 1, 2014, you will receive A-List status in Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards® upon conversion through December 31, 2015.
