Personally I like Win 8.1, but I can see why people didn't cotton to the massive UI change. 7 was in every way an objective improvement from XP, though.
There were quite a few, but most of them suffered from Vista Phobia. They had, one point, switched to Vista... and back to XP. After that, they shut down from anything new coming out of Microsoft! I am serious.
