I also wonder about the Middle East. Multiple carriers trying to establish themselves and their hub airports/cities as global brands...actively marketing to North Americans and Europeans who currently fly AA/UA/DL/LH/AF. If there's competition to be found, it seems like it's with these guys... They're already big, but aspire to be vastly bigger in the decades to come.
