Not to quibble, but as often said, YMMV. We came thru on the previous Monday, Aug 18, off the NRT flight which arrived at approx 9:30 am. Immigration/customs went smoothly & the G terminal pre-check line was almost empty. In fact, they seemed to welcome some traffic. In fact, this was our 3rd entry in the last couple of months ... all good experiences. BTW, got an orange slip once over about 20x at SFO, so maybe a 5 pct chance (LOL/YMMV).
