Japan is to review its air-traffic control procedures to reduce the risk of human error after two planes carrying 676 passengers and crew narrowly avoided a collision last week, government officials said.
Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has established a committee to review how the country's air-traffic control is run. The group will consider changes to traffic control zones, routes and training to improve safety.
