Thanks for doing this trip report! It brings back great memory of the days when I went to boarding school near Totnes in South Deveon.

I took numerous Paddington-Totnes-Paddington in those days. Paddington has a special place in my heart. The views from the trains were just magnificient: Dawlish Seawall, Exeter Cathedral, River Darts...event Tauton station was exciting.

I took the Great Western Train back to Totnes last year and had an amazing time in the Southwest, and hope I get enough time to turn all those photos taken on the trip into a TR here one day.
