I have always modified points stays on the phone with no hassles. I cancel on line, though. Be careful about cancellation periods, though. IIRC, the Conrad Rangali Island is a 30 day cancellation period. And if you don't cancel within the permitted time, you will probably get hit with a cash penalty, usually equal to the cost of one night. (With the Conrad Rangali that's more than $1000.)
