I wouldn't worry too much about the lounge, it's an okay place to wait for a short while. The flights to DUB typically leave next door to the lounge so in that respect it's convenient. I was there last week, it's adequate for a quick drink and a butty.
The Dub flights I've been on lately leave from the old EI gates so you have to walk all the way down to the far end of the now desolate green mile...
