each room has an historical artifact on display plus there are 6 suites built within and in the style of the original 18th century buildings..... parts of the building even date beyond that (the area where panache is i believe). The so called "show museum" actually has 100 hundreds of items that were found during the renovations that are cycled in and out of display. There is an actual sense of place to this hotel, unlike the Fairmont whose sense of place was killed by the pension fund owners years ago in a race to the tour bus bottom.
