I've noticed two Holiday Inn's spring up recently.

The Holiday Inn London West is a former Ramada Encore and the Holiday Inn Heathrow T5 is the former Arora Park hotel (it's not attached to T5 but it's around the corner from the Hilton T5, closer to T5 than the HIX T5).

So what are they like? They've both been described as extensively renovated. I know the Ramada Encore rooms were more HIX than HI has this now been addressed. That particular hotel also had an issue with creaking floors when I stayed there in 2009, you could hear people walking in the corridors even if they tried to be quiet.

I've never stayed in the Heathrow T5 one under the previous brand. Might be worth considering. Currently the Hotel Hoppa to the Hilton passes this hotel but it has never stopped there. When it reopens as a Holiday Inn will it be added to this route?
