I have a friend who's got a house located between Sebastiani and Ravenswood and Gundlach Bundschu wineries in the town of Sonoma, and he said that it was quite a violent shaker - he had several wall hangings drop to the floor, and lost some ceramics and wine glasses.

He told me that the epicenter was actually west of Napa, and only about 10 miles from the town center of Sonoma, so I would anticipate that some of the wineries in the eastern portion of Sonoma got damaged as much as many of the ones in Southern Napa did.

One winery that got hit really hard was Bouchaine, which is in the Carneros region between Napa and Sonoma, a few miles west of Napa. Based upon what my friend told me, that's just about exactly where the epicenter was. Bouchaine said that they lost 50 barrels of wine.
