FWIW I am Diamond and have done about 20 stays here in the last year and a half and have been upgraded to an Exec Floor room most of the times, but never to a suite regardless of suite availability. Personally, I think that the views are just OK and really depend on the room you get. The building is quite old and the funky layout means some rooms have restricted views while others have a limited degree of sight. My advise is to keep away from the end rooms by the balconies when you get off the elevators. They seem like cool rooms, but the balconies are open to guests and sometimes people are out there in the middle of the night smoking cigars and telling stories---right outside your window!!
