As many have said, not much luxury in Norway. I come from Norway, but tend to stay with friends or family when I visit.
If you do not want to go by Hurtigruten, a nice route is to fly to Oslo (I recommend The Thief in Oslo), rent a car, drive across Hardangervidda including stay a night in Geilo, go on to Flaam where you can take a detour with the railway Flaamsbanen (
https://www.visitflam.com/en/sightse...-flam-railway/) and then on to Bergen for a few days. From there it is nice to drive north along the fjords to see Geiranger, Trollstigen and more. A hotel that I love there, but not luxury is Union Öye:
