Current Churning Paradigm: AOR or prn?

After being in vogue for several years, there have been scattered comments on these forums recently that AORs may not be the best way of churning these days. Those comments are often related to newer and larger bonuses not being matched for those who recently opened new accounts thus it’s better to wait for the newer and larger bonuses and then apply. It would be interesting to read what is currently thought to be the best practice for CC churning.

AOP: App-O-Rama, multiple credit card applications on the same day, often within a few hours of each other, every 91 or 93 or 96 or 100 days.

prn: as needed. "Pro re nata is a Latin phrase meaning in the circumstances or as the circumstance arises.[1] It is commonly used in medicine to mean as needed or as the situation arises. It is generally abbreviated to p.r.n. in reference to dosage of prescribed medication that is not scheduled; instead, the decision of when to administer the drug is left to the nurse, caregiver or the patient's prerogative.[2] Such administration of medication is not meant to imply, and should never allow for, exceeding a given daily dosage."
