I'm traveling with my girlfriend, and was wondering if I book one of us in First and the other in Business, if we would both be able to sit in the pod in First throughout the flight, or is this heavily frowned upon? I see photos showing two people dining together in the same pod across from each other, and the seats also are incredibly wide. The ottoman even appears to have its own seatbelt so that a guest can remain there for extended periods. We are both slender people, so the space isn't the issue. More worried about it violating policy or etiquette and being asked to return to our seats. It'll be an anniversary trip, so sitting apart from each other throughout the flight would not be ideal. Would something like this work, or should I keep looking and hope that I can find something with two F seats?
No sharing of seats allowed in CX. In the rare occasion that the IFS allows, the IFS has to talk to each and every single F Class passenger to explain why she allows it. CX is pretty strict with regards to this.
But it's good that your and your gf are seated far far apart. Less chance for quarreling and getting sick of each other. Who knows, you might get a better looking gf in "F" class...
