Basically, i went to a Family Dollar store a couple of days ago and loaded my Serve card with a Vanilla GC debit, it worked fine. Went there yesterday to do the same, it was the same cashier. After i asked to reload my Serve, he then asked me how much i wanted on the card, i told him $200. He then walks away to talk to his manager, returns and tells me that "he's going to take my debit the last time for the transaction" and next time, i'll have to bring cash. I was going to argue with him and tell him a piece of my mind, but i didn't even bother. I just said okay and left. Seems to me like he made that rule up himself, because they registers work just fine. Do ask him to call a manager next time or is he right about not being allowed to load Serve with a debit card?
