I used this on flight UA 857 on 8-20 (SFO-PVG). Watched on my IPad Air in E+. Streaming worked flawlessly. I watched 5-6 hrs of programs during the 11 hr + flight. I was pleasantly surprised with the content and ease of use. I also took a walk around the 747 to see if anyone else was using it. I only saw one other user.

For me it works. I was even able to eat my peanuts and have a glass of water on my tray with the ipad.

Unanswered questions: Will streaming work so well on a 747 when a plane load of passengers use it? Will it remain free?
