Posting in the old thread since I couldn't find an answer elsewhere.

I have a 23-hour connection in IST, flying NA-Europe. What happens to checked luggage:

1. I have to retrieve it and re-check the next day, or
2. It is checked to the destination and stays at the airport, or
3. I have a choice of 1 or 2.

Which is correct?
