8/21 Follow-up:
Spent $12 on the card this cycle. My Citi statement from 8/20 shows 24 points, and 24 points subsequently posted to my HHonors account. No sign of the 60k.
Oh well. Going to wait until next week just so they can't tell me "please wait", then will start getting aggressive with both Hilton and Citi until I get this resolved.
Called back in to Hilton today. They re-opened my case number (which I didn't realize had been closed). The CSR spoke with their supervisor as well as with the original CSR from the ticket, promised me that it is now an "investigation" with a "very high priority" and that they will get back in touch with their contact at "Visa", and I should call back on Friday 8/29 for an update.
