LH announced months ago already that (partly on behalf of all StarAlliance members) they would make an offer for those 10% that "TG can't refuse ...".

SQ said in late may-2000 they might make an offer themselves or join in the StarAlliance-offer (see LH above).

Swissair (SR) is bidding too, as Mr. Brugisser (president SR Group) said last week.
