1. It's my birthday
2. Miss Scrutton Street got straight A*s in her GCSEs yesterday (#prouddad)
3. An awkward client has just postponed a potentially difficult meeting due to take place this afternoon
4. I still have to catch up on the last two installments of C-W-S's trip report
5. It's a long weekend and the weather looks OK
6. Therefore I am off to the pub
